Notice of Road Closure 30 Sideroad

Notice is hereby given that a road closure will begin 9am September 4th, 2024 and is expected to be closed for the remainder of the day. The road closure is located on 30th Sideroad between Concession Rd 5 and County Rd 50.

The road will be closed for a cross culvert replacement. Traffic control plan will be in place and local traffic will have access to their homes.

Road Maintenance Notice - Micro Surfacing Schedule

Please be advised, the Township will be completing microsurfacing in hamlets starting on Wednesday, September 4th and finishing on approximately, Tuesday, September 10th.  A map of each location can be viewed through the link attached below.

On the date(s) scheduled below, please do not park on the road during the day as parked cars will interfere with microsurfacing work.

Lifted Boil Water Advisory in effect for Hockley Water System Users

LIFTED - Boil Water Advisory Hockley Water System

August 26, 2024 – Following satisfactory laboratory results conducted by the Township’s water system operator the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA), the boil water advisory for the Hockley Water System has been lifted as of Saturday, August 24, 2024. 

The homes on the Hockley Water System have been directly notified by OCWA.

August 23, 2024 – Residents serviced by the Hockley Water System are being advised to boil their water following adverse water sample results conducted by the Township’s water system operator the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA). The advisory will remain in effect until further notice and will be lifted once the safety of the water has been confirmed by laboratory results.
