Council Meetings

Members of the public are an important part of the local government process and are welcome to appear at Council meetings to make their views known to Council. 

Council meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month. Request forms must be submitted by the first Wednesday of the month before noon. Submitting a request form does not guarantee placement on the upcoming agenda. 

Appear as a Deputation:

Persons desiring to present information where it requires potential action by Council shall complete a request to appear as a Deputation

Appear as a Presentation:

Persons (representing individuals, groups or organizations) who wish to share information on matters that fall under Council's mandate should request to appear as a presentation.

Please submit the Request to Appear as a Deputation or the Request to Appear as a Presentation form below.  The Clerk's Department will review the form and contact you within one (1) business day.

Public Meetings

Members of the public are an important part of the local government process and are welcome to appear in all public meetings to make their views known to Council. 

Public Meetings are held for a variety of reasons, and the public will be given notice of Public Meetings through the website, newspaper, and regular mail in accordance with legislative requirements. The meetings can also be seen on our meeting calendar. Requests to appear at a Public Meeting must be submitted the day before the meeting, no later than 4:30 p.m.
