NOTICE TO TOWNSHIP OF ADJALA-TOSORONTIO MUNICIPAL WATER/SEWER USERS

 TAKE NOTICE that payment for Water/Sewer invoices for the period of January 1-March 31, 2024, will be due on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.  Payment must be received by the due date. Penalty of 5% will be added on the first day of default.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Modernization of Water Meter Infrastructure

The Township of Adjala Tosorontio is conducting the installation of water meter reading devices (MXU) on select properties.  The new reading devices will allow the Township to accurately record water meter readings by simply driving by the property.  If you have received a yellow notice at your door, your property will require the replacement of the MXU (white box on the outside of the house).

Street Sweeping - Everett - Sat. Apr. 20th

The Township’s Street Sweeping operations will take place in Everett, Saturday April 20th.

Street sweeping helps to provide a safe driving surface for motorists by cleaning Township roads of leftover sand used during winter operations, and any accumulated debris.

For best results we ask all residents to minimize street parking during this time. Thank you for your cooperation as we complete this important road maintenance operation!

It is with profound sadness Mayor Anderson, Council and Staff learned of the death of former municipal leader Doug Little.

Mr. Little, a former member of Township Council and lifelong resident of the Township passed away on April 11, 2024.  Former Deputy Mayor Little has left an everlasting mark on our community.  He was elected to Council in 1994 and served 24 years, 10 of those years as Councillor and 14 years as Deputy Mayor and County of Simcoe Councillor.

Municipal Administration Centre Office Closure – Emergency Well Maintenance

April 12, 2024 – The Municipal Administration Centre, located at 7855 Sideroad 30, Alliston ON L9R 1V1 will be closed on Friday, April, 12, 2024 at 3 p.m. for emergency well maintenance. The Municipal Centre will resume regular business hours on Monday, April 15, 2024, at 8:30 a.m.

Tribute Colgan 1 & 2 - Notice of Weekend Work

Please be advised that the Township has approved weekend work at the Tribute Colgan site on the following days, weather permitting:

  • April 6
  • April 13
  • April 20
  • April 27

The scope of work will involve house construction works at both project locations.
