  • Licensing dogs;
  • Promoting responsible pet ownership; and
  • Responding to dangerous or menacing dogs.

To report a lost dog, or a found stray contact our Canine Control Contractor - Ewe Herd Me at 705-220-6890.

Impounded dogs will be cared for at the Outrun Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre (998089 Mulmur Tosorontio Townline, Lisle ON) in accordance with the Township Canine Control By-law, while our Canine Control Officers attempt to reunite the animal with its owner. Should reunion efforts be unsuccessful the dog will be fostered and made available for adoption.
