MEDIA RELEASE 

Structure Fire - Elderberry Way, Colgan 

November 28, 2024 - At approximately 10:48 p.m. on November 27, 2024 the Adjala-Tosorontio (ATFD) responded to a report of an alarm sounding in a newly constructed home on Elderberry Way. Upon arrival crews investigated and found a small fire that had been extinguished inside the structure. 

The fire is currently under investigation by the Nottawasaga detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police. No injuries were reported.

Public Notice: Canada Post Strike

Public Notice: Canada Post Strike

As of November 15, 2024, Canada Post Workers are on strike shutting down operations and stopping mail service. As a result the Township is unable to send or receive mail.

Residents are still obligated to pay property tax and water/wastewater bills, as well as any fines/infractions, including parking tickets, by the due date. To avoid late fees, interruptions, or delays, residents are encouraged to use alternate payment or delivery methods.
