Notice of Hybrid Hearing of Application for Minor Variance
Take notice that the Committee of Adjustment of the Township of Adjala-Tosorontio will hold a hearing: May 21, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. through our iCompass portal.

Synopsis of Proposal: To permit a lot coverage of 11.5% whereas By-law 03-57 permits a maximum of 10%.
Synopsis of Proposal: To permit the garage to be located in the front yard, whereas Zoning By-law 03-56 permits no accessory building or structure shall be permitted within the front yard or exterior side yard.
Synopsis of Proposal: To permit an interior side yard setback of 20 meters for an agricultural building, whereas By-law 03-57 requires a minimum of 30 meters.
Synopsis of Proposal: To permit an interior side yard setback of 8.76 meters for an agricultural building, whereas Zoning By-law 03-56 requires a minimum of 30 meters.
Synopsis of Proposal: To permit an oversized garage of 600 sq ft with a rear yard setback of 6 m and an interior side yard setback of 2.7 m, whereas Zoning By-law 03-57 permits a maximum of 592 sq ft, a minimum rear yard setback of 7.5 m, and a minimum interior side yard setback of 3 m.
Synopsis of Proposal: To permit a home business to be conducted within both the principal dwelling and the accessory structure, occupying 50% of the gross floor area of the buildings, whereas Zoning By-law 03-56 permits the home business to be conducted entirely within the dwelling and not exceed 25% of its gross floor area; and to permit no more than seven (7) persons other than the owner of the dwelling to work in the home business, whereas the by-law 03-56 permits no more than one (1) person.
