About the Kidde Cause for Alarm Campaign
Kidde launched its Cause For Alarm campaign in Canada to address the gaps in fire safety knowledge and preparedness amongst Canadians as part of its mission to equip families with the fire safety knowledge and tools to apply at home. Cause For Alarm aims to provide the necessary resources and support to at-risk communities to help them feel safe and protected in their homes.
As part of this campaign, Kidde wants to encourage Canadians to be prepared in the event of a fire at home and has created educational tools and resources, underscoring the importance of having working smoke alarms and a fire escape plan. These include the sing-along-song “Beeps That Last, Get Out Fast,” and a Fire Safety Toolkit - an educational resource comprised of simple, engaging tools and information translated into multiple languages. What’s more, Kidde has partnered with the Fire Marshal's Public Fire Safety Council to further engage Canadian families and donate fire alarms to local fire departments like yours.
