Job Ads Workshop: How to Reach Your Ideal Employee

Based on preliminary discussions with partners, there is interest in collaborating on a workshop for employers focused on how to prepare engaging job descriptions that target prospective employees in a strategic way. The event would cover key concepts such as communicating with different demographics, considerations in developing job ads and where to post ads to reach your ideal employee. Please let Johanna know if you are interested in participating in planning the workshop.

Reminder: Career Exploration via Edge Factor

The Edge Factor Community Hub (under the career exploration tab on the jobsite) is a free tool for local job seekers, parents and educators. This page is available to anyone in Simcoe County (via local postal codes) to access content on the platform. The Community Hub sees participation from 25 High schools in the region.

Please see a link to a video recording for the Simcoe County, Barrie and Orillia Edge Factor Hub to learn more about what is has to offer: https://youtu.be/qA6MpOglxg8
