Find your fit with a cart size that suits your household needs

The County of Simcoe is pleased to introduce a new cart request program to support residents and businesses’ capacity and storage needs. Starting January 17, 2022, business and homeowners can visit carts.simcoe.ca to swap their garbage and/or recycling cart for a smaller size. Exchanges will be free of charge until July 30, 2022.

Simcoe County Museum Skating Trail

County of Simcoe opens skate trail to the public

After a successful soft launch to the season, the County of Simcoe skate trail has officially opened for the 2022 season. It remains a popular winter destination for residents across the region with over one kilometre of peaceful solitude through Simcoe County forests. With current provincial COVID-19 protocols in place and to ensure physical distancing is able to occur, skaters are limited to 100 at one time, up to a limit of two hours.

This community rink is not monitored or maintained by Township staff, but supported by community volunteers.
