The Adjala-Tosorontio Fire Department is committed to enhancing the quality of life to our citizens by reducing the loss of life and property due to fires and emergencies in our com
munity through effective ​education, prevention and suppression activities, and by providing effective, efficient and safe emergency aid and resc​ue services.
The Adjala-Tosorontio Fire Department consist of two fire stations that service the community.  Station 1 is located in the settlement area of Everett (Tosorontio) and Station 2 is located in the settlement area of Loretto (Adjala).  The department is comprised of a full-time Fire Chief, 59 Firefighters and a full-time ​Administrative Assistant. 
The department fleet of vehicles is composed of 2 pumpers, 2 squads, 2 tankers, 2 rescue trucks, 2 utility trucks, an all terrain vehicle and one rehab/command trailer.  Fire Protection Services includes fire safety education, fire prevention, fire suppres​sion, rescue, medica​l response and the training of members involved in the provision and delivery of the services.

Carbon Monoxide & Smoke Alarms:  It's The Law

The Fire Department offers free home inspection on ensuring your home has the appropriate amount of working smoke alarms and a CO detector are present in the home.
