At this time, the Township of Adjala-Tosorontio is meeting to monitor, discuss and address local concerns in response to COVID-19. The Township is taking precautions based on recommendations from other levels of government and health authorities. The Township of Adjala-Tosorontio is committed to ensuring the safety of our staff, residents, Council, and volunteers as well as reducing the spread of illness.

​Essential and Critical Town Services

In response to the need for the town to take action to slow the spread of COVID-19:

  • All town facilities have been closed to the public.

  • Non-essential services have been reduced so that the town can focus on the delivery of essential and critical services to support our community.

​Only exterior structures and non-occupied dwellings can be inspected at this time. No final or interior renovation inspections in occupied dwellings.​

SECOND PHASE COVID-19 INDUSTRY SURVEY NOW OPEN

In cooperaton with partners, members, stakeholders, and the office of Minister Lisa MacLeod, the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario (TIAO) has released an updated COVID-19 industry survey.

The updated survey marks a shift in focus measuring the broad impact of COVID-19 on the industry to measuring the specific economic impact of the disruption on the ground, to help shape an economic recovery package.

The survey asks about cancellations, lay-offs and temporary or permanent closures caused by COVID-19.

Please take a moment to complete the survey and get the word out any way that you can - email it ot your members, share it on your social media channels, with other business owners, and any other ways that think will help drive traffic to the survey.

The survey will close on Monday, March 23rd, 2020. When sharing, please display this deadline prominently.

COUNTY OF SIMCOE COVID-19 BUSINESS RESOURCE UPDATE AND FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SEEKING ITEMS FOOD SERVICES/SUPPLIES
